About Me

- Name: a fellow of infinite jest: Brendan Douglas Jones
- Location: Los Angeles, California, United States
Born of the storm and christened by lightning, I stride the Earth like unto a GOD - fearsome and terrible in countenance!
Um, actually, I'm a Mississippi-born Texas-bred Californian. A writer of screenplays, short stories and comic books. A one-time rock 'n' roll star (kind of) and kiddie show host. A lover ... of the ladies.
So come, explore my inner workings and try not to get nauseous all over the new carpet.

Between the small black on blue lettering and the heavy JPEG artifacting, the text is illegible. Please re-compress and repost!
If the images appear initially compressed with illegible text then the most likely casue is the browser is set to resize images larger than the viewing area to fit into the window.
I have been able to read clearly by clicking on the image again to enlarge to actual size. You can also view options for your web browser and turn off automatic image resizing.
chuck has a point. It's those first three boxes before the "I'm a cop." Even resizing to full size, the black becomes fuzzy on the blue. If it was the same size font as the following boxes, I'm pretty sure it would be just within legability...
Hey folks,
Chuck certainly had a point. I did lighten the blue of the narration boxes and I also made the switch to .png so the images wouldn't be compressed and blurry.
I would've gone with a larger font but, sadly, I wrote too much text to fit nicely over those panels. If I had gone to the next point size, the narration boxes would've completely blocked the lovely landscape and most of Officer Krum's cruiser.
Learnin' as I go, folks!
